More bikes on the racks than cars on the street. Bikes play a large part in Portland’s Economy. To say they don’t is misguided and untrue. After my last few years of observations, there is zero way to deny this.
Bikes in traffic with cargo containers (which I believe this is a kid in a carrier).
Trendy eatery, with bike parking in front. Not many cities in the US do you see this.
Going to jam, on a bike. Guitar slung on back.
Zoobomb Preparations amid the stop outside of Powell’s Books. See the big clump, yeah, the crew comes along, unchains them, and goes riding down the hills up by the Zoo via the MAX. Very cool & crazy event, of course, this depends on your idea of fun. Like adrenaline, then you’d dig it. If you don’t, I’d fear you’d scare yourself to death.
