Transit Photo(s) o’ The Day #004 - #12 to Sherwood

  Transit Sleuth

While walking around in November (you know, last year in 08′) I grabbed a shot of the #12 south bound to Sherwood.  Here the shot is of the bus just traversing the Burnside Bridge and preparing to turn onto the temporary bus mall.  (click image for larger sizes)

Another major mode of transportation that the pizza delivery industry uses in downtown Portland.

That’s right, bicycle pizza delivery.  If you’re interested, Old Town Pizza is a pretty rad place to have a pizza and take a tour of the Shanghai Tunnels and other underground creepiness that lies below Portland.

This is another shot from a block away.  The #35 Macadam heads south toward Lake Oswego.

I’m not real happy with the shadows on this photo, but it was difficult getting lined up for a lot of shots.  The sun was out in a grand way this last November, but because of the low angle the shadows where very difficult to work around.  On the other side the sun was so bright the glare was bad at other angles.  I’m so used to the overcast skies messing up any attempt at a good shot that the sunny days messing them up too is frustrating.

Anyway, that’s it for this round of transit photos of the day.
